There are numerous clubs, groups, and organizations that support biking in its many forms across the Washtenaw area. Whether you are interested in advocacy, leisurely cruises, commuting, competition, or something else, these partners can help you get connected, get involved, and hit the road.

One of the largest cycling clubs in Michigan. AAVC’s Mission is: “to develop cycling skills and fitness of our members and promote the sport of cycling in the greater Ann Arbor community.”

Bike Party Ann Arbor
Bike Party is Ann Arbor’s community fun ride! Slow (6-10 mile) bike rides throughout Ann Arbor for everyone. Last Friday of the month April-October. Meet at 7pm at the Farmer’s Market downtown.

600+ member branch of the International Mountain Biking Association in Washtenaw, Lenawee, and Livingston counties. Focused on advocacy, developing/maintain trails and building the mountain biking community.

The Ann Arbor Bicycle Touring Society has been active in Ann Arbor and the surrounding communities for over forty years. We organize numerous rides each week for cyclists of many different skill levels and interests.

Huron Waterloo Pathways Initiative (HWPI) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that helps to facilitate the development and use of non-motorized recreational pathways in Washtenaw County and surrounding areas.

We’re a 501(c)3 non-profit organization based in Ypsilanti, MI that advocates for transportation equity for Michiganders with disabilities. Our travel training programs teach people how to ride bikes and public transit safely and independently.

Ypsi Bike Co-op
Ypsi Bike Co-op promotes cycling for transportation by helping the community fix their bikes. Meets most Satursdays during the summer at the Ypsilanti Farmers Market (Depot Town).
